Testimonies
At Global Missions & Community Outreach, we believe in the power of personal stories to inspire faith and hope. Here are just a few testimonies of how God is moving in the lives of individuals and communities we’ve reached through our missions.
In a small Muslim village in Sierra Leone, the Gospel has brought profound change. After embracing Christ, the community constructed their first church, funded largely by local Muslim families. Discipleship is now led through Torch Audio Bibles, and the impact has been extraordinary.
The village chief shared,
“People no longer quarrel like before; now they talk about the Word of God. The teachings of the Bible have brought peace to our community.”
This testimony demonstrates how the Word of God can bring harmony and unity even in previously unreached areas.
Mama Aisha, an 80-year-old woman living in Clarkston, GA, found new comfort in the Word of God after receiving an Audio Bible in her native language. Despite being unable to read due to her age, the Audio Bible has become her constant companion, even during surgery.
She shares,
“The Word of God brings me peace. I listen to it every night as I sleep.”
Her faith has also opened doors for outreach to her wider community, including a Congolese pastor and his congregation.
A man in Clarkston, GA, from one of the world’s hardest-to-reach people groups, received an Audio Bible. Touched by the Gospel message, he started a listening group with his friends. His roommate, who is from a different country, curious about the group, asked about their meetings and eventually gave his life to Christ.
Today, both men are growing in faith, proving that even the most unreached communities can experience transformation.
In Sierra Leone, a small village planted a cassava farm with assistance from Pastor Alfred and his partner George Mwangi. Their aim was to support their newly built church and improve the community’s economic stability. During the 2025 harvest season, they experienced an abundant yield that exceeded expectations.
One villager testified,
“The Lord has truly blessed the work of our hands. This harvest is more than we could have imagined!”
The local Imam of the Muslim village in Sierra Leone explained their decision to build a church:
“We wanted future generations to have the freedom to choose their faith. We grew up with only one option, but now our children can explore Christianity as well.”
This remarkable act of openness has created an environment where the Gospel can flourish.
During the inaugural service of the church in Sierra Leone, many attendees reported healing miracles and decisions to follow Christ. The church was filled to capacity, and the sense of the Lord’s presence was undeniable.
One attendee shared,
“I came to see what was happening, but I left with a changed heart. God is truly at work here.”
